I coax a voice out of an emerging narrative, and allow that voice to create its own logic.
Pink is the color of love and high cheer, lemon yellow high anxiety, pale blue of innocence, fleshy pink the sensual, material life. Black is the primordial unconscious bog from which the spirited hues emerge, in defiance.
Weighty content (sexuality, animal/environmental concerns, competition, etc.) is topped with ornament. Beneath our decorative pretenses lie sensual, vulnerable flesh.
